Established in 1958 by the Wellers Family, The Nicholson General Store was a one-stop shop for local produce, handcrafted goods, and more. Idyllically positioned on the banks of the famous Nicholson River, part of the East Gippsland Lakes, Nicholson has always been a hub for tourism and an attractive spot for fishing enthusiasts.

With a recent refurbishment and ownership in 2021, new life was poured into the general store. This iconic place is for locals and visitors to meet, gather, eat, drink and buy goods.
