The heart of the town
Established in 1958 the humble general store supplied the township of Nicholson & surrounds with petrol, groceries, fishing & tackle and postage services. Now, as a result of growth from local development, the Nicho Store is a place to drop in for takeaway, sit down for a meal, complete your postage needs or stock up on locally made products. Located next door to the Nicholson River Caravan Park, it truely is the ideal spot for holiday makers and locals alike.

A fresh start
Purchased by the Malady's in April 2019, before the Black Summer Bushfires hit East Gippsland, the new store had a bumpy start, with Covid lockdowns following shortly after. In 2021, the original building was demolished and a new fresh space was created.
